Military Asset Management Ltd bought the domestic site of RAF Buchan near Peterhead in October 2005, with the aim of giving the area a new lease of life, providing an economic boost for the area through improved job opportunities and extensive amenities to benefit the local population.

The former RAF base includes a wide range of major facilities which will complement each other in civilian life as much as they did during the military years of the base. Since making the purchase, a small team of security and maintenance personnel has been established to ensure that the site is secure and to begin immediate upgrading and renovation works.
